Private Security Advisory Committee – At- Large The current term of an incumbent representative on the PSAC for the At-Large is ending on 7/21/2024 and the Council on Law Enforcement Education and Training (CLEET) is accepting letters of interest and resumes from those individuals who wish to be considered as an appointee to serve on the PSAC. The incumbent is eligible to apply for reappointment, but the Council will consider any qualified applicants for possible appointment. The Council on Law Enforcement Education and Training is authorized to “appoint an advisory committee composed of representatives from security guard and private investigative agencies to advise the Council concerning necessary research, minimum standards for licensure, education, and other matters related to licensure of security guards, security guard agencies, private investigators, and private investigative agencies.” Members serve three year terms with option for reappointment, attend quarterly meetings, and are subject to all applicable statutes and rules governing such meetings. Only individuals holding an agency license or employed by a licensed agency and in good standing may apply by submitting a letter on agency letterhead, providing full name, CLEET license number, contact information and a brief statement of qualification and interest. If you are interested in serving on the PSAC as the At-large representative, please submit the letter of interest and a resume to CLEET, Attention: Shelly Lowrance at shelly.lowrance@cleet.state.ok.us by 5/24/2024. This will be forwarded to the PSAC for consideration and recommendation. The PSAC's recommendation will be taken to the Council for final approval.
